Puberty is a period in which a child experiences changes marked by the start of active sexual organs in his body. This process occurs due to hormonal changes, and generally begins when the child enters adolescence. Normally, puberty occurs in the age range of 10 to 15 years for boys. Whereas in puberty women occur faster, namely at the age of 9 to 14 years. Even so, puberty can also occur late or even earlier.   • Emotions

  • Early puberty that changes the physical shape of children faster than their peers can affect children's emotions. For example, in girls who experience early menstruation, he can experience depression and anxiety, because of confusion over the changes that occur in him. Can also be a decrease in self-confidence due to changes that he experienced.
  • Body posture

  • The duration of early puberty is not the same as normal puberty. This means that the period for early puberty is shorter. As a result, when early puberty stops early, the child's height growth will also stop early. If so, the child will not experience height growth again because bone growth has stopped and the child's body frame is ripe. So as an adult, children who experience early puberty tend to posture shorter than their peers.
  • Behavior

  • Not only emotions that can be affected by early puberty, but also the child's behavior. For example, some boys who experience early puberty can have more sexual desire for children their age. While girls can be more sensitive, easily offended, and emotions can go up and down. Even so, this condition still requires more research.
  • Risk of disease

  • Besides being able to influence the psychological development and behavior of children, early puberty is also expected to pose a risk of future illness. One of them is the risk of breast cancer in women, obesity, and brain tumors. However, this still requires further research to prove that there is a connection between early puberty and these diseases.
Early puberty is a condition that needs to be consulted by a pediatrician, so that treatment can be given if needed. Experiencing early puberty is certainly not an easy thing for children.
